“LOVE THINKS NO EVIL…” by Pastor Scott Henry
So often what we think comes out in our words and actions. We often think our thoughts are harmless, but in actuality, our thoughts have the power over what we do. This is especially true in our relationship with others. One characteristic of love is a pure mind as we...
LOOK TO CHRIST by CH Spurgeon
“Looking unto Jesus” (Hebrews 12:2) It is ever the Holy Spirit’s work to turn our eyes away from self to Jesus; but Satan’s work is just the opposite of this, for he is constantly trying to make us regard ourselves instead of Christ. He insinuates, “Your sins are...
SIN IS COSMIC TREASON by Dr. RC Sproul
“The sinfulness of sin” sounds like a vacuous redundancy that adds no information to the subject under discussion. However, the necessity of speaking of the sinfulness of sin has been thrust upon us by a culture and even a church that has diminished the significance...
PERSPECTIVE IN WORSHIP by Rev. Matt Powell
Psalm 73:17- “Until I Went Into The Sanctuary Of God; Then I Understood Their End.” I have a photo that I took of Devils’ Tower that I particularly like. It is difficult to get a feel for just how huge the Tower is from photos, but this one is of three climbers...
HOW TO GROW SPIRITUALLY By Rev. William Boekestein

“Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands! Serve the LORD with gladness; come before His presence with singing” (Psalm 100:1-2). The first thing we see in verse 1 is the command for the whole earth to worship the Lord. The Psalmist says: “Make a joyful shout...
SATAN’S SIMPLE PLAN by Pastor Kevin DeYoung
What does the devil want to do with you? Does he want to haunt your house? Not likely. You’d write a bestselling book or become a reality television star. Make your head spin around? You could make a lot of money showing off that trick. Get you to carve a pentagram...
WORSHIP THE LORD by Pastor S. Henry
“Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands! Serve the LORD with gladness; come before His presence with singing” … “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise” (Psalm 100). A mark of a true believer is a delight in the worship of...
SANCTIFICATION, HOMOSEXUALITY, AND THE CHURCH by Dr. Mark Snoeberger
In this post my goal is to utilize the issue of homosexuality as a case study to demonstrate that the “Jesus + Nothing = Everything” approach to sanctification is not merely an academic wrinkle, but an error of such prodigious import that it threatens the very essence...
